Changing careers was a challenge I wanted to take 9 years ago. Moving into User Experience from non-profit was the best decision I have ever made. It all started with a video game project a friend asked me to help design some logos and creative assets. That quickly turned into an interview and was asked if I ever consider doing user experience. At that time I was not aware of what UX was, so I read a couple of books & articles then had conversations with industry friends and came to the realization I was implementing some of the core concepts already. A couple of months later the developer from the video game project introduced me to Sprout Designs CEO and from there I was given my break into the industry. At this moment my wife was 6 months pregnant and I was looking to leave the YMCA of San Francisco and explore a world that I still knew little about. At every stop in this journey I’ve met great people, collaborated with well balanced teams and had the pleasure of working with companies that are industry leaders.

I’m always looking for the next challenge. Started with designing video game logos and now leading teams to create service design experiences. I am determined and driven to create user-centric and seamless experiences for all users.
